I formed Mark Edwards Consulting (now Mark Edwards Associates Ltd) in April 2002, after many years with a small to
medium size consultancy in the South Manchester area. During this time I gained a great deal of experience in the
type of consultancy work I am now offering to clients.
At opposite ends of the spectrum I have extensive experience in medium to large project work and in domestic
inspections and subsidence remedial work. I also have excellent experience of site investigation in connection with
housing and flat developments, refurbishment and the design of foundations and superstructure elements.
My experience of larger building projects includes Industrial buildings, High bay warehouses, Offices, Bus stations
residential new build and Call centres up to £18.5million value.
At the other end of the work scale I have undertaken literally hundreds of domestic inspections and subsidence
investigations for private clients and insurers. Together with former colleagues we built up an excellent reputation for
this kind of work in the region.
My goal is to continue to offer a similar range of services across the broad spectrum, concentrating on an efficient,
responsive and professional service with a proactive contribution to project design team involvement.
To enable us to offer the full range of design services we utilise the latest CADD software with Masterseries for
analysis and design and Autocad for draughting. Consequently we are able to handle relatively large and complex
design commissions.
